Co-location made easy

We’ve launched Infrassembly, a managed co-location service.  Our clients can own their own servers, operate from a data center of their choosing, while we handle the setup and day-to-day operation of their servers and networking.

Faster RimuHosting VMs

We have upgraded the spec of our newest host servers with the latest model AMD Epyc CPUs and NVMe drives, offering ultra-fast disk IO and low latency.  You can move a RimuHosting VM to these new hosts. Or spin up a new VM.

Improved control panel layout

Our https://rimuhosting.com/cp page has a new layout for a better user experience. Check it out and share your improvement ideas with us!

Multi account access

You can now associate multiple logins with each RimuHosting account. This is great for teams or when third parties like web developers need access.

Dedicated Bakop servers

Bakop customers can now provision dedicated storage instances, backed by RimuHosting VMs.

RimuHosting acquires NetValue Hosting

We’ve recently acquired Waikato-based NetValue Hosting, enhancing our support for local businesses with domain registrations, email hosting, and websites.

New Staff

With the NetValue Hosting acquisition, James and Paul transferred over from NetValue Ltd to RimuHosting.  Their experience has been invaluable to us as we have taken over the NetValue Hosting services.  And their input is also helping us improve other parts of the business.

Additionally, Molly has just joined the team doing customer support and helping with billing enquiries.

Employee profit share

The RimuHosting employee profit share plan enters its 4th year of operation.  I founded RimuHosting 21 years ago, and I want it to still be providing an excellent service to our clients in another two decades.  The profit share plan is a key part of that.  It helps align the business success with employee success.

.nz domain name registrar

RimuHosting is now .nz domain name registrar.  Initially supporting NetValue Hosting services, in time we plan to extend this to all clients.

NetValue Hosting network rebuild

We’re upgrading the NetValue Hosting network with better equipment, resiliency, capacity, and bandwidth. This project is a testament to our commitment to infrastructure excellence.  This is the kind of project we also undertake in data centers for our Infrassembly clients.

We’re offering a zero effort site migration service to our Woop! Host managed WordPress hosting service. Let us handle the move for you.
